Who are we and what is our goal?
Mallorcastorage is an operator of warehouse space in Mallorca with an excellent location in Palma’s largest industrial area, Son Castelló. How high are the storage rooms?
As a rule, our boxes are 2.30 meters high. Compliance with the maximum storage room height is of great importance, as it ensures the proper functioning of our fire protection equipment and is therefore of particular interest to all customers of our self-storage.
Can I use the storage facilities for a garage sale or music rehearsal?
No, you can’t. Our storage units are designed exclusively for the storage of the storage goods that are eligible for it. Band rehearsals, which would also create noise pollution, or commercial operations are not possible.
Do you have a freight elevator in your buildings?
Yes, we have a freight elevator at our location for smooth, barrier-free access to your storage unit.
Are there also things that cannot or should not be stored?
Yes. In general, no items may be stored that are highly flammable or highly fire-promoting. It is also forbidden to store goods that may cause odor nuisance or emissions harmful to health.
- Food, especially perishable and if not vermin-proof (canned food is storable).
- Fuels, combustibles and lubricants
- Paints, varnishes and solvents
- Explosives (e.g. fireworks, propellants, ammunition)
- Weapons
- Used tires
- Internal combustion engines (also no outboard motors, mopeds, etc.)
- Valuables, cash, jewelry and jewels, securities, etc.

Are the Mallorcastorage halls under alarm and video surveillance?
Yes, the Mallorcastorage halls are video and alarm monitored. So you enjoy reliable 24-hour monitoring when you store with us.
Contract
How can I cancel?
With us you can cancel very easily and uncomplicated. Simply send an email to the location where you have rented. Contact information can be found either in your contract or on the location page on our website. Important: Please tell us your contract number and/or also the number of the rented storage room.
Do I have to pay a deposit when I sign the contract?
Yes, a deposit in the amount of one month’s rent is required.
Is it possible to change the booked storage space afterwards?
Reduction is possible after the first month, enlargement is usually feasible immediately. Important: The prerequisite for such a rebooking is, of course, in both cases the availability of the desired storage space. Just contact us!
How long is the notice period?
To cancel, email info@mallorcastorage.es at least 15 days before your next contract renewal. Check your rental agreement for your rental term and renewal date.
If I rent the warehouse longer, do I get higher discounts?
In principle, yes, if you book a fixed period and make an advance rental payment. Please inquire about the details and options for your request at our location.
Do I have to be of age to rent a storage unit?
Yes, to rent a storage box, customers must be legally competent and therefore of legal age.
I am going abroad for an indefinite period of time. What is the maximum time I can store with you?
As our customer, you can store your goods as long as you want.
What documents do I need to bring with me to conclude the contract?
Please bring your identity card or passport. In addition, the first rent and the deposit (the deposit has the amount of one month’s rent) are due directly at the conclusion of the contract. The same applies to online rentals.
Services
Can I also book the parcel acceptance service as a non-customer?
Parcel acceptance is available to customers with suitable storage space. Mailboxes hold letters and small items. Larger parcels need a locker or storage unit. Please arrange your first delivery with our team.
Do you offer help with moving or transportation?
We provide the free storage space, but not the storage logistics. For you, this means that you as a customer are responsible for the storage and retrieval of goods in your storage room. Nevertheless, and of course, it is possible to be helped by service providers, for example, our partner Transportes y Mudanzas Illes, or even friends and acquaintances to fill the storage unit.
Is it possible to buy moving materials from you? And what does it cost?
We run a moving store at our location where you can buy practical moving utensils such as boxes, stretch film or packing blankets.
Can you accept mail for me?
Yes, customers can rent a post office box from us.
Do you offer insurance for the stored goods?
Yes, you take out insurance for your stored goods with us, based on the value of the stored items. This insurance covers individually all damages with.
If necessary, your household insurance will also take effect. Please discuss this with your insurance company.
Are there vaults for the storage of valuables?
No, we do not have vaults. Some valuables also fall into the category of items that cannot be stored with us.
Are there free transportation aids such as hand trucks, pallet trucks and dollies?
Yes, we have free transportation aids at our location such as hand trucks, pallet trucks and dollies. These are available to our customers free of charge.
